Moosedale School was built on the east side of SE 3-49-10-W2 in the Moose Range R.M. Part of the school district was in the Arborfield R.M.
The Department of Education provided the District with a startup grant of only $200.00. In order to build the school, the local ratepayers cut the logs, had them squared at Miller’s sawmill, and built the school and desks. The school opened July 11, 1933.
In 1960 the Moosedale School closed and the children were bussed to Carrot River Town school.
