On Dec. 28, 1914, a petition was sent to the Minister of Education asking for the approval of a new school district in the northern part of the Zenon Park area. The proposed district covered 9640 acres in townships 47 and 48. The petition was signed by twenty-one ratepayers. The first trustees were: Albert Marchildon, Auguste Hudon, Hector Cote, and Raymond Courteau who was secretary.
The new district, named The Marseillaise S.D. No. 3327, was approved on May 9, 1914. The school was built by William Arbour and Jos. P. Hudon (Beaulieu) on SW7-48-12-W2 belonging to Auguste Hudon. The school opened on April 27, 1915.
In 1938 the school burned down. It was reconstructed and located on NE12-48-13-W2.
During its thirty-nine years of existence, the school was attended by an average of 25 students per year. The peak enrolment was 49 students taught by Marcelle Lafond in 1935. The smallest enrolment was six students taught by Francois Cadorette in 1953.
